Hey everyone, today am going to review the new launch by LAKME. Its the LAKME LIP LOVE LIP CARE.

      Lakme has come out with these kinds of tinted lip balms earlier also. The one which am going to review today is the new one which they launched recently.

     So basically it's a normal lip balm with some pop of colour in it, which provides your lips a good hyderation also some colour pay off. Keep reading if you are interested to know more on it.

My Experience:

About the product:

             It's a normal lip balm with a good tint of colour which are available in 7 different shades right now. The over which am reviewing today is strawberry variant.

    Product Claims that it will keep the lips moisturized for around 22 hours with SPF 15.

Packaging:

      Packaging wise is quiet similar to Maybelline lip balm, with a twister at the bottom of the lip balm stick. The previous lip balm by LAKME had a lipstick kind of packaging.

     When we compare both I feel the new lip balm packaging is much better than the older one.

Ingredients:

      There is no ingredient list in the product, which I feel it's a drawback. As we are not being aware of what kind of stuff are using on or lips.

Available Shades:

         Lakme LIP LOVE chap stick are available in 7 different shades.

                  ◆ Insta pink

                  ◆ Apricot

                  ◆ Strawberry

                  ◆ Mango

       Purlipcare is the one which doesn't have any kind of colour.

 The colour changing insta-pink is sheer on application and then transforms into a shade of pink that is unique only to you.

Texture And Fragrance:

        The lakme lip balm has a buttery smooth texture and it's quiet thick on application and their consistency is quiet creamy. It glides easily on the lips and make the lips smooth and soft.

       

 Lip balm has a sweet floral candy kind of smell, which I love the most. But it fades off after little while of application and also the smell is not over powering.

Does It Stays On For Long:

         It stays on for about few hours but the lips are never going to feel dry after use even if the lip balm fades off. However it cannot survive meals. You can really it when ever required.

Shelf life:

    24 months.

Price:

   It cost ₹150 , for 4.5g of product.

Pros:

 ● Affordable/Under budget

 ● Contain SPF15

 ● Hydrates the lips well

 ● Easily available

Cons:

 ● Colour pay off is not up to.

 ● Ingredient list not mentioned on the package.

Will I Recommend It:

   If you are looking for a tint lip balm that's under budget, then this one is great. Do not expect a good colour pay off.

     Before applying the lip balm make sure you exfoliate and remove all the dead cells from the lips and then apply the lip balm.

     If you are not a lipstick person but want to try some light shades, then this one is perfect.
